Divorce is likely the most traumatic, life altering experience you may ever go through. Other than experiencing the passing of a loved one, there is little in life that can be compared to the pain and upheaval that the divorce process will cause.
The feeling most often experienced at the onset of divorce is panic. “How will I survive?” “What about the children?” “What about the get (Jewish Divorce Document)?” “What about the civil divorce?” “What about the money?” And of course, what about the social and emotional repercussions?
FrumDivorce.org was formed to help answer your questions and guide you through the devastating maze of the divorce process. Since its inception, Frum Divorce has evolved, and through the work of volunteers and the contribution of individuals in the community, Frum Divorce is now focusing its main effort on education and community support services.
Specifically, we are committed to helping parents navigate and survive the divorce process and continue to raise their children in the most positive and safe environment possible. Most often through divorce, it is the children who suffer, and they are the silent victims of their parents’ choices.
It is our goal to provide community lectures, support groups, and referrals in order to strengthen parents in their time of need.
We are in the process of forming a Board and an executive group of volunteers who will take this organization to the next level. If you have time and are committed to making a difference, please reach out to us so that you can join this young and promising group. Each one of us can make a difference.
